I ended up feeling defeated by the German (hard as nails) paint and bought myself the flex 3401 vrg forced rotation DA. It's known as the DA on steroids and they aren't wrong. Combined with the S20 black by scholl concepts I was soon able to conquer the hard paint and clear the defects. As you can see the Polish finishes down really nicely and it's produced really clear reflections.
