Got a bit of a dilemma on my hands regarding connecting my iPhone 6s Plus to my 12 plate S Line with tech pack.
I have the yellow collar lightning connector cable in the arm rest, but I like to have my phone in a Brodit pro clip holder on the centre console.
The brodit holder I have has the lower housing to hold an apple lightning cable but this obviously won't connect to the MMI interface.
I bought a 1m Lightning extension cable which is unofficial. The Lightning connector end is too fat to go into the holder, and is intermittent at best if I unscrew the cable housing from the brodit holder and just plug it into the phone, not to mention fiddly to put the cable in when I get in the car.
I've looked online for some kind of female lightning to female usb A connector but that hasn't brought up anything useful.
Any suggestions to help me. Driving me [emoji35]
