Never come across this problem before, after driving for about an hour when every thing is hot, accelerate hard and the clutch slips just briefly then bites again. The rev counter go's up 300rpm then drops again. It will do it when changing gear as well but not every time. you cannot induce clutch slip i.e. dip clutch when driving hard in high gears. I put a new clutch kit [lux] and DMF at 70,000 ml and it,s on 170,000 now. Any suggestions . No comedians thank you.

The torque spikey standard map is to blame .

Has it been re-mapped?

What's remap got to do with intermittent clutch slip? I am asking if anyone has come across this fault before?I'm thinking clutch slave or master cylinder fault. If the clutch was at fault it would slip all the time, yes I know it would slip in high gears under load first, then get worse but you cannot make it slip when you try !

could be that the pedal isnt returning all the way so when it gets hot and the fluid expands its holding the clutch down ever so slightly. does the bite point get higher at all when its hot and can you lift the pedal at all from its normal resting position. is there any free play at the top of the pedal travel ? this fault is more often found in brakes where the brakes will grab on slightly when hot, but i have seen it in clutches as well.

I only asked as mine slips sometimes under hard acceleration and I know that the extra torque from the remap is a factor.
