I recently aquired an audi a4 (http://www.audiforums.com/forum/#) 2.0t with 120,000 miles. I was told it was misfiring and just needed a camshaft position sensor (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dautomotive&field-keywords=cam%2Bposition%2Bsensor). Check engine light and EPC light are on. I ran a scan and have these error codes:
p2014 intake manifold (http://www.audiforums.com/forum/#) runner sensor
p0190 fuel rail pressure sensor
p0118 engine coolant temp sensor
p0113 intake air temp sensor
p0343 cps a circuit high input b1
I did just put a new camshaft position sensor, no change. I read a forum where a guy had same error codes and it was a bad ground from the ECU (http://www.audiforums.com/forum/#). Not sure if ive checked all possible grounds. Any direction or advice would be much appreciated. Thank You!

If you can, have you tried clearing your fault codes and driving the car and re-checking the codes to eliminate spurious errors? A list of faults can lead you in the wrong direction.

Maybe should have mentioned how it runs. It fires up fine. usually idles ok, but when you give it gas rev in N, or in gear. It hesitates, shakes, misfires( whatever you wanna call it) and is hard to accelerate. Once up to speed, runs ok. I think I had narrowed it down from much research.
Symptoms seem similar to:
-HPFP leak ( which it may had, long story short, pump was held by one snug bolt, one stripped, and no third bolt..waiting for stud kit and new banjo bolt)
-low pressure fuel sensor failure
-clogged fuel filter( just ordered one)
-bad ground?
-worn cam lobe( ive checked it, No visible wear, can see even chamfer all was round apex)
Am I on the right track?

yeah change BOTH fuel & air filters
Then take the car onto a straight piece of road, keep car in 2nd gear and boot it until the revs are just under the red for a good couple of hundred yards, look in mirror & confirm all the crap has been blasted out of car
clear faults and then tell us whats happening

@ bfunke, Hi! was wondering if you ever found what was wrong with your car? I have that same issue with same codes. Would appreciate your response. Thanks

07 a4 but 2.0t, had thermostat replaced, barely runs now, p0190 code, replaced fuel rail pressure sensor, cleared codes, no change and p0190 returned... Suggestions please?

Bengar, sorry to dig up an old thread, but I’m having the same issue that both of you have. How did you fix?
