Noticed the other day that my a/c was behaving strangely on my 57 plate Q7 3.0d S-Line.
I'd set both L/H and R/H temps to LO. Whilst cold air was coming out from the driver side vents, I had hot air coming out from the passenger side vents.
In the end I had to set the following on the passenger side:
Fan speed = 1
Temp = Lo
Direction = Front vents
and then manually close the front vents on the passenger side to get the temp half way bearable.
2 days later I tried turning on the passenger front vent in the centre console and found to my relief that the a/c was functioning again. I've since set L/H and R/H sides to synchronise and all is good with the world.
The day before the issue, I was driving locally with the panoramic roof fully open, and therefore I had enabled ECONomy mode on the A/C.
Any thoughts on whether or not I've got the start of a long term problem?
Thanks in advance
Mike
