My 2004 MY Touran has an unusual noise coming from the rear of the vehicle under braking. I know what worn pads sound like and it is not that! Sound is more like a rubber squeak as the wheels rotate under braking only. I have heard a similar noise on other vehicles but only from the suspension bushes over rough terrain and obviously that was not rotating. So to recap, the noise is rotational, re, silent, then on, then silent, and only under braking and more rubber than anything else.
What might this be??
