View Full Version : Question Auto Hold - Engage permanently.

hi, I have auto hold on my car and in exactly same vein as auto start stop the bloody thing defaults to off when I get in the car to drive it next time, any ideas on how to alter the memory settings using Vag-Com so it stays on or off which ever is preferred? Tar

I had that on my passat. Neither myself or my garage could figure out to make it 'auto come on'!!
Sure there must be a way via vagcom though...it can do virtually everything else!!

You've posted in the anything but VAG section but you don't mention what car you have.

Give us a clue?

Sorry thought I'd posted in anything with wheels... my car is an Audi A7 2011.

Anything automotive that isn't VAG related goes here - If "VAG" related PLEASE USE THE CORRECT FORUM SECTION!

VAG seem to fit all sorts of wildly different modules across their range so unfortunately it's not a one size fits all solution.

I'll move this to the A7 section to keep the replies model specific.

There's a thread (in German) that describes one chap's mission to turn it on permanently in his A5 - Hill-hold assistant permanent on - codierbar? : Audi A5 B8 (http://www.motor-talk.de/forum/hill-hold-assistant-permanent-on-codierbar-t3929056.html) - YMMV ;)
