Headlight issue

Hi all,

For the last couple of weeks i have been having an issue with my headlights, as soon as i turn the ignition on the dip beam comes on.
To start with it would stay on for a couple of minutes and then go off but now they are permanently on when the ignition is on and then when i turn the lights on the switch it also brings on the fog lights.
I have bought 2 new switches but has made no difference.
Any ideas of what the problem is?

Sounds like the power control unit is faulty - have you tried replacing it?

As above. I had a similar problem with flashing side lights, lights turning on and off as I was driving, never indicators though only the white lights. I changed the switch no different. I then replaced the power control unit which is positioned under the steering wheel. I found it was easy to get to and quick to change. I bought a second hand one off the bay and was lucky as it worked first time. A new one from Audi is well into 3 figures.
