Winter wheels and tyres

As "summer is a comin" I thought that this might be a good time to buy winter wheels and tyres. Is there a list published anywhere covering the best wheel and tyre size to replace summer tyre size 255/35/19 fitted to my A6 Avant Estate 2010 quattro, s-line?

For instance will the 18" wheels and tyres from a Q7 be a suitable replacement? Any suggestions.

Q7 wheels won't fit the A6 as they are a different stud pattern

all sizes suitable for your car are listed within the fuel filler flap, i had 225/50/17 on my A6 for winters coming from 255/35/19
