Cruise Control Question

Hi Guys

First post but long-time 2004 S4 cab owner and forum browser.

I have a quick question for anyone with factory fitted cruise control.

I retro fitted cruise control a while ago, and all operates as it should, the indicator light in the instrument panel works.

My question is, should there be a digital display of the set speed shown somewhere in DIS? As with later model Audis which all have this?

Is this something that needs activating via VCDS? or is it quite normal for my car not to do this?

The 8E doesn't display the set speed.
