Help 1.9 AJM wiring diagram needed.

Hello All. I need a 1.9TDI AJM wiring diagram. I live in the states and we didn't have B5's with TDI motors so a friend of mine and I are putting in a 1999 1.9TDI AJM (Not sure if it is from an A4 or a Passat) into his 2001 S4 but some of the wiring got cut off when the engine was removed from the donor car. Does anyone have the wiring diagram or a link to where to get one or a manual that has one it.

Hello,

If you can, source the complete engine loom. With regard to the wiring diagram, I cannot help.

With regard to the engine; if you don't already have it, avoid the AJM, they are the very early PD TDI engine and are prone to head gasket failure.

If you can, source an AWX or AVF engine and ones made after 2002 which have the much simpler cambelt tensioning arrangement (standard friction tensioner vs a dampered tensioner on the early cars.)

why are you putting a tdi into an s4 ? thats a bit like taking Mila Kunis and saying, ' you know what, i think i will stick the head from some really ugly woman who smokes a lot of meth and has no teeth''...
