I think the answer to this question is yes, but thought I would ask the experts here...
Will an AUDI A6 C5 AVANT 2004 tailgate fit my Audi C5 Allroad 2002?
Mine is rusting quite badly and I have found a breaker I am about to visit. If condition is good and rust free, I was hoping to buy. It will only be the shell - I will move all parts over.

Ask a body shop for the part numbers for the two tailgates. Regards Peter

Thanks Peter - should have thought of that! I looked up the parts manual and it is the same part for both.
