What impact does burning off 1 litre of oil per 250 miles have on the car ?

Engine?

It shows the piston rings are goosed. No real impact on the engine, unless it runs dry.
I guess it could also clog up the cat, DPF and EGR with the extra soot???

2.0 TFSI oil burner.

Its going into Audi soon for testing but the piston rings are most definitely goosed.

As huge clouds of smoke are not being produced I'm wondering what else is happening as a result of the burning.

The CAT can be expensive so that's one thing to pay attention to, I don't know if this engine has EGR's, thought they were just on diesels ?

The soot on the tail pipes is like what you would expect from a bus LoL not a petrol.
