Climat control panel swap

CP is fine to me. Do I need to install any more additional parts? Also do you have that coding?

I know the actual heater box is different from the 2 and 4 zone but cant say for sure 100% that the differences is purely for the rear zone system. I have read that just the front panel has been changed successfully.
I will try and find the coding for the 4 zone

I have only 2 zone system. So maybe coding is not needed?

Although given the visibility of the number plate and apparent transparency of the seller, perhaps they scour Europe for write offs and can economically break and distribute from there?

Hi. Can someone post coding for digital dual zone climate control panel. I have bought panel and want to swap but need coding too.

I didn't think this would work as you need the output to the mmi to see the temp as well as there's no way you can tell what temp it was without this. Mmi also show fan speed and everything related to that control panel.
I would have thought you would need something like a different comfort module at least to get this fully working not just coding. i will try and look at vcds scan from a few months ago and see what the code is when I get my computer back.

It wont work fully unless you change the heater matrix unit. 2 zone has 7 motors and the 4 zone digital has 14 motors

Did any one swap their two zone panel for the four zone ? Pretty sure a different or additional cable is required to connect the panel to the mmi unit .

Yes i have done it.. New heater matrix, Dash out and a big job. The extra connection is for the additional motors the the 4 zone panel controls

Wow you’ve been busy , did you have to change the cable that goes from the climate panel to the mmi or is it thesame cable that the 2 zone climate panel uses?

Yes just replied...

The extra cable goes to the heater matrix and nothing extra connect so the mmi system from the panel

Hi Morsky. I just bought my new control panel (digital 4 zones). Just hoped to switch the panels and enjoy... How foolish :)

Probably you can help me:

Cant we just use the 4G0820043K (https://rrr.lt/en/parts-list?pc=4G0820043K) unit, even with less feature? To be honest I mainly wanted to get benefit of the digital control of temperature, just cannot believe a 50K car doesnt have it standard...

Could you share with me the procedure, material you bought and coding info, even if it is a big job i feel like doing it.
