Ipod in Audi A6 C7

Audi A6 C7 3.0 TDI Quattro 245HP 2012, second hand. It has RMC MMI with satnav, two SD card slots (one used for navigation card and second one is faulty), CD changer in the glovebox, AUX and some unknown phone model cradle in the armrest.

What are the possibilities of using my iPOD (I want to see playlists on the MMI screen) other than plugging it in the AUX? Which hardware has to be purchased and how to install it?

Kufatec sell the AMI kit which can be installed and gives you the "factory" look. Had this on my previous C7 as the order in the pipeline the dealer had did not have this. Once installed you would not have known it did not come the factory like that. Requires quite a bit of interior trim removal to run the connections etc from arm rest to behind the glovebox. Took the person who knew what he was doing about 90 minutes from start to finish
