My Passat has the electric tailgate, opened from the cabin or fob, closed by a switch on the tailgate.
Yesterday while washing the car the tailgate opened of its own accord. I had the fob in my jacket pocket but am sure it could not have been pressed as there was only it in there and its a soft woolly bear material.
By the by one of those things.
Which brings me to the question, can the vehicles electrics (computer) be modified to allow closing of the tailgate from the cabin or fob...say using a VCDS unit.
