Im looking to upgrade my mk5 GT 140 engine a bit. Not really looking for massive horsepower numbers, just to perk up the car slightly. I'm looking for parts that simply just slot into the car without any major changes or anything. I've read other forums and posts and I've came up with a few parts to go in and just wondering will these just slot in or is there anything I'm missing that I while also need.

K04 turbo
S3 intercooler
S3 injectors
Catback exhaust
An ECU remap

Also if anyone has done these mods before could they give me a ball park figure on hp numbers? Thanks.

A K04 on a BMY engine! Who makes a manifold that allows that huge hair dryer on a 1.4? It would make more sense to just remap it to around 210PS.

Then *** are you doing talking about a K04 turbo and S3 injectors, they are for a petrol engine!

maybe a DTUK tuning box? dead simple (like 10 minutes!) to add 50BHP

I still prefer tuning boxes on the TDI, my favourite are Steinbauer but they are expensive.

And don't forget to factor in the expense of the insurance premium increase [emoji51]

I've got the same car bro.. I'm installing a hybrid turbo from Xman turbos and a 4bar Map sensor... It's perfect because it slots straight in and with the supporting mods like a front mount intercooler etc you're looking at a reserved 220bhp and like 250bhp tops if you tune correctly! Price for this is £600 for the turbo including delivery £40 for the MAP sensor and he will pay £70 for your old turbo which brings the price down a bit aswell! I do all the work myself which saves on costs.
