Hello.
I have 2007 2.0tdi variant with manual A/C. Now I have noticed that centre air vents does not blow any air, hot or cold. And it feels like that right side adjuster knob does not response to anything.

On one day i removed that upper thing (compartment), trims and cd-player. Then i noticed that there is white plastic cogwheel on left side, but nothing goes to it, like some wiring. Should there be some wire? When i turned that wheel, then that centre flap opened, but nothing happened when i tried that adjuster knob.

Hopefully you understand. I'm from Finland :)

And thanks for answers.

Hi gain.
I have searched answers from internet and i think i found answer. Could it be that one adjuster motor is broken? part number: 1K0907511 (http://www.partsbase.org/parts/vw-1k0907511/). Codes have not been read. And does that part adjust airflow when i turn that knob on heater panel?

do you have a scrapyard near by ?

go in there and see if you can take off the trim to see how it works

This is solved. Again I strip down radio etc. and also pulled out that adjuster panel. Then i noticed that there is cable connected to panel but other end is loose. Cable is circa 30cm long. Then i found this little hollow tube about 5cm long on right side with cogs on other end. I managed to attach that cable to that tube and adjuster started working. Very small place to work :)

I was going to recommend changing the cabin/pollen filter but it seems like that's not whats needed here .... :D
