Hi all I have just last weekend bought my first Audi it's an a6 c7 s line 2.0tdi 177 manual in Daytona grey , it's done 115000 so high miles but it's immaculate and it's super smooth and quiet and I love driving it !
It's having a major service next weekend at an Audi specialist.
Any way have I made a good purchase I paid £12500 and it came with 1 years as warranty and had a 128 point check ?
Also do I need to keep an eye out for anything on this model ?
Thanks http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160130/604172deaf9c8da744eaf4524eaa8129.jpg

Thanks it is there isn't a mark anywhere inside or out ,the only thing I have noticed is a slight judder in the clutch when pulling away in first gear but looking on the internet that isn't unusual ?

Judder can be just you getting use to the car also

Ignore the mileage..... that's a lot of car for £12500.... I'm sure there will be mileage related issues at some point however none are readily reported at the age and mileage of yours... hopefully many happy days / miles ahead of you.

Make sure the warranty covers dual mass flywheel/clutch as the judder could be early signs of problems.
Other than that 115k is just broken in 😉
Only other thing was the screen mechanism can get sticky. My 13 plate did that and fixed under warranty.

DMF, screen, fuel filler flap. Otherwise it's pretty bulletproof. Nice choice.

Thanks for the replies one other thing I didn't mention is I won't be putting that many miles on the car as my last car I had 7 years and only did 47k in it

My filler cap failed on first few days of ownership but was fixed under warranty. They replaced the whole mechanism and has been perfect since.

A little tip I found to get it to work on an interim basis was to slighly pull the red emergency cord and then try with the remote. A little tension and it worked fine

So what's the common fault with the filler cap then does it not unlock or something ?

Yes just doesnt unlock. There is a red emergecy cable in the boot somewhere but for me it did nothing. However i worked out that a little tension brought it all back to life. While i was waiting for the replacement solenoid mechanism i did that.

Basically it should unlock as soon as you unlock the car.

The part itself is avout £20 so not expensive.

What ever you do dont force it open if it stops working

Looks sweet. Mileage will not be a problem if oil has been changed regularly. Thats a lot of car for what you have paid. Enjoy.

No not sure if it has many extras think it's just standard been trying to log into the your Audi bit on the Audi website to see what spec my car is but its not letting me do it as the post code isn't matching the car yet as I've only had it a week so I bet it's not on the system yet
