I am expecting delivery of my A6 in the next couple of weeks (i think its currently on the North sea on the boat). Anyway, my question is - does the avant come with the pull up dog screen on the rear parcel shelf as standard (i had it on my old C6 avant and it was really useful) or is that an optional extra? I have seen some second hand ones on ebay for around £80 but am not sure if they are compatible with the FL C7 - ie does the FL have the retaining slots for holding the screen up. Also, the car has a pan roof - will this be an issue?
thanks

Mine came with it built in as standard on my BE.

I've got it, with the pano roof including the forward position for using it with the rear seats folded.

No thats not the dog guard its the luggage net. The dog guard is a £225 extra. I have an avant BE and its not standard. This is what comes as standard http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Audi-A6-C7-2011-ON-AVANT-BLACK-BOOT-NET-PARTITION-4G9861691-94H-/131711446577?hash=item1eaa9d2e31:g:u2UAAOSw~gRV2hJ H

My bloody dog jumps over into the rear seats at the sides of the cargo net between the window and the net end - i need to get the dog guard myself.

Mine too. Down to the more curvy shape of the car, but at least its a barrier.

Unfortunately I haven't got the sunroof which I've had on every other car for rainproof dog ventilation more than anything. You can pause the tailgate at about 6" open but one of my dogs (the one with a pulse) considers this a challenge so I'm going to try one of the nets I've got. Green one from my C5 allroad is the biggest. Fortunately I've got a flap-over bumper protector. Although not entirely secure it's the best solution I've got and I'd risk it whilst doing a pit stop.

Donmeister. You'll find the visibility through the screen can be difficult at times (rainy darkness etc) as its mesh, whereas the C5 one was a more conventional lattice.
