Hi - as in the title, I have a 2007 Audi A4 S-line - 2.0 diesel B7 (140 variety) which is my commuting car that I have owned for about 4 years. First 3 years were great, without any issues (I'll just explain some of the history below).

It had done over 200,000 miles and started to suffer with hesitation and an engine management light - went in to the garage and had a new EGR valve and chamber fitted. The original was filled with black gunk, and probably could have been cleaned out - but a new one was fitted along with a service. Poor servicing was blamed, although I thought I had been paying for a service / MOT every year.

This seemed to make things better for a while (it cleared the engine management light), but it still didn't feel 100%...

Just before Christmas things came to a head when the big "Oil pressure" warning light came on, knowing this was serious I pulled over and topped up the oil with some I had in the boot and limped the 15 or so miles home - not exceeding 1,500pm. It ended up with a new oil pump, oil pressure switch, turbo and various other bits - but it is still hesitant between 2,000 and 3,000rpm (the power band!).

So, I realise I've spent more than the cars worth and still got the hesitation - what can I try next? I see others on this forum and others have had some success changing the MAF, the battery is weak, TerraClean, turbo vacuum lines, maybe fuel filter or injectors? It pulls like a train up to 2,000rpm - but above its not much fun trying to overtake anything, not like it used to be :(

Thanks in advance.

Paul
