New A6 BE arriving March

Could someone please advise about the MMI plus, if I use a SIM card can I still connect my iPhone and use that to make calls etc and the sim for data? I'm sure it's been asked a million times but please help out an old technophobe!
Also anyone got any good sim only deals for the data?
Appreciate any advice.

Yes, put a sim i nthe dash for data only, connect your iPhone using Handsfree profile to make and receive calls.

The MMI menu asks which to use for phone calls - either SIM or Phone. Pretty simple to sort

I use my with a sim in the dash and iPhone for calls.

I use sim and iPhone 6 together. EE sim from Amazon for £15 for 6GB or 3 months, whichever comes first. I find that it lasts just right. This way you need to activate the sim in a seperate device before putting in the car..

I use the same sim but from eBay. No need to activate it first, I just scroll through the options to activate it. Pity they didn't do one for the same price per month which lasts a year.

You can just put it in the car and connect your phone to the hotspot to activate it.
