Hi,

I am looking to get some screens for the front headrests in my 63' A6, I had a look online but could only find dvd screens.
im really looking for screens which can view movies from the SD card inserted into them, and integrated into the headrest not hanging off.
Does anyone have any links to somewhere that does good quality ones?

I'm pretty sure hazzydays do screens that they build into your headrests and have an SD card slot. Been a while since I looked though

Plenty on E**y m8,
Been looking myself.
Yes most of them are dad players, but they also have ad card slots as well as usb.

As for quality, I can't comment.
They are cheap, but in this day and age, with the price of tech coming down , doesn't mean it's bad quality.

Just get a couple of cheap tablets and mount them to the headrest. Bonus with some tablets is you can use Bluetooth to send the sound to the stereo. The new Amazon ones were going for £35 a while back.

Not wishing to put a dampener on this option, but don't forget in the event of a crash your cheap tablets could become very sharp missiles! This is why I went down the route of using the Audi version, which at least were firmly fixed to the front car seats.

The link is here Audi Accessory: (https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/accessories-and-merchandise/accessory.html?partNumber=4G0051700F) but they would be no use to you as they require the seats and pre-wiring to be specified when you order the car so cannot be added afterwards.

The point I was trying to put across was that the cheap option of using tablets has some risks associated with it and you should consider a built in solution.

Surely no more risk than a passenger holding one.

I'm no expert by any means, but in my opinion there is a difference in having a tablet on your lap, and having one a metre away at head height.

Hitting the pillar next to it would be far more dangerous.

Neither are likely if wearing a seat belt.
