Hi,

I have a friend who tried some different clocks from an identical mk6 golf and then put back his original clocks. In the process, he lost his ABS coding
Can anyone help? It is a 2009 VW Golf Mk6 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/-/dp/B003NF6QZW) 1.6 TDI Manual - RHD - no hill hold

Didn't he save any of his previous scans of the car that will have the original coding? If not, you need to calculate the correct coding from the options installed on the vehicle.

Thanks, no previous scans saved. I cant make out from the Wiki as the coding on the module is around 36 characters long, Ross techs site only shows around 7 characters?

The Ross Tech site is only showing you the significant characters. When you enter the coding the rest will be padded with zeros.
