Just Bought an Audi

Evening,

I am now in the Audi Gang! Just bought a 2006 S Line B7, here she is;

It has a few teething troubles......


Firstly - There is no cruise control or DIS info, heres a pic of the dash. Can I retrofit? Any recomended places in South Wales?

Secondly - the sun visor clip is missing on the passenger side so it just flops about!

Thirdly - The engine sounds meaty, am I to assume exhaust may need replacing or is the S Line sporty sound I am hearing?

Just read some info, ran outside to check. I have a BRE Engine, and not the dreaded BLB

For sure blb has the oil pump chain tensioner problem so bre is geared ? Geared or chain there is still the 77 mm hex drive/ balancer shaft issue .

Update:

Have taken off and cleaned the MAF, the lumpy idle seems to have gone. Ive chucked a tub of redx in the tank and filled it up. Off to north Wales tonight so maybe the long drive with unclog any ****.

Next week I have booked it in for an MOT. Part of the deal with the Trade seller was that I paid for the MOT and he paid for the work.

Parking sensors still dont work - Just a long beep when i put into reverse. Unsure if these are audi sensors or aftermarket. No P sign near cup holder

Ok since owning;

Have replaced sun visor clip

Have replaced arm rest clip

Have got the car an MOT, this wasnt due till july but dealer said would pay for repairs. Failed on broken spring, all good now though

Replace parking sensor - Did this whilst garage was doing spring, so car was up on ramps. A lot easier

There is no oil pump upgrade its a BRE which comes standard with gear driven
