Hi All,
Has anyone had any experience fitting 285/30/21 RS6 Alloys onto a standard A6? The offset on the RS6 alloys is 25 and on the A6 it is 45. Any advice???

They will stick out an extra 35mm approx depending on alloy rim width and the speedo will under read by about 3%.
Might also cause problems with the insurance as they are not an audi approved size for the A6. You can go into the audi site and put your registration into the tyre finder and it will come back with possible tyres for your car.

3% increase in rolling radius isn't too bad but no idea if it would catch on full lock. Because of the decreased offset, it should clear your suspension. When I put my wheels against the 21" wheels into Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com (www.rimsntires.com) it shows that it would fill the wheel well by an extra 6 mm which I would be happy to do. Wouldn't fit 21" wheels in the first place though-too expensive for tyres and too harsh for the roads!!
It would be the sticking out further which would be my worry.
