07 plate and 149000 miles.. I'm only worrying because it's got no MOT and currently SORN off the road haha.. Enough to make anyone slightly nervous but it runs sweet, sounds beautiful! So I'm just hoping it's genuine

Runs sweet sounds sweet don't worry then unless something suspect pops up even then it's never half as bad [emoji1]

For mot just check, cv boots the cv joints, any mounts, suspension, bushes, brake lines, lights, brake pads and discs and tyres.
Maybe you can so it urself and save some money so it passes or fails on the minimum.

I spend half my life selling Virgin media and the other half fixing my old mk4 haha! Like you said, as long as it's minimal I'm not fussed! Still got my old car for now and once the new ones back on the road I'll be doing a complete engine swap in that thing [emoji23]

I've gone back and checked MOT history etc and it all seems pretty standard! And it's currently sitting with 1.6 and 145000 miles but it's ******* (mostly my fault).
But it has had pretty much everything replaced ie gearbox, clutch, cv joints.. You name it! So either another 1.6 and just sell it off or its becomes a project and I stick some kind of monster in it and go from there! The world is my oyster right now! Haha
