Hi guys, i've currently got a Dolphin Grey B6 A4 TDi sport and it has the normal 17" Sport alloys, the tyres now need changing but i'm thinking of changing these set off wheels to the ones on the C5 RS6.

Now there seem to be quite a few floating about on eBay/gumtree but I can't tell the difference between a genuine one and a replica. How do I check to see if they are genuine?

Secondly, on Autotrader they list the standard RS6 alloys at 19" but all the ones on the net are 18" which is baffling - any help here guys?

Much appreciated.

Thanks

The C5 RS6 alloys were 18". I used to have a set of replicas for my winter tyres on my C6 - they were very similar to C6 S-Line 18" alloys. Double check that they will fit your car as I bought them off a guy who had an A4 and they wouldn't fit.

The main difference I could spot between the replicas and C6 S-line alloys were 1) the offset pushed the wheels out from the hub ever so slightly (looked quite good!) 2) they were not made by Ronal as many of the Audi rims are, this style in particular and 3) the finish was not quite as "silvery" and smooth as the originals.
