Hello all car lovers. I'd like to ask for some advice, I've been a petrol head for a good 25 years and at 43 have had a lot of the cars I always wanted albeit usually old and well used. I'm also into bikes and am lucky enough to own a nice sports bike for sunny days. Ive had a few nice sporty cars, an old 996 a lovely e46 m3 cab, a 540msport and currently lease a 330d Msport. The Beemer is lovely, if a little plain inside, very quick if a bit too tail end happy sometimes and very economical but it's going back next year. I'm hoping to buy next time but I've had my fingers burnt on new cars hence why we leased this time. I'm hoping to have enough to buy a small run about for my wife AND something for me to go have fun in that's also practical. I love big engines and nice sound tracks but don't want stupid running costs so have been looking at my options. A friend of mine has a nice new a7 sport back and he suggested an S4 to me. I've never owned an Audi I'm not sure why as I've liked most models they've produced just not ever been able to afford the one I want! Anyway I've done some you tubing and the s4 certainly looks like a possible car of choice for around £20k? I'll be doing limited miles prob around 5k/year I drive a van daily. Can I ask what I should look out for and steer clear of. Sorry if I've gone on a bit but once I start talking cars....
