Is there a way of changing the MPH reading to KPH? Just returned from a trip to Europe where it would have been useful on my A6 Ultra TDi

Yes; left button on the steering wheel into dis menu, select speed. Then in the car menu from main screen, there are options to set speed as kph in units and measurements.

Once again, who reads the manual? You'd remove three quarters of this forums content if you couldn't ask questions where the answers are found in the manual. It's not compulsory for you to reply, try saying nothing if you don't feel like helping.

Flicking through the manual is a good start. There might be something in there you might not currently know.

Thanks to St3veM I quickly found out how it was done - I had quickly had a look through the manual but could not find the entry - not very observant I suppose!

Yes, but my manual is in the car glove box, it's cold and it's raining outside. My I-pad is on my knee, I'm warm and comfortable sat here. I'm quite likely to ask a daft question and not feel bad about doing so.

The speed of the forum is quicker than the manual. You asked and someone gave you the answer in less than 3 minutes. Quicker than I can get my shoes on and find my car keys to go get the manual.

In the past I have put my shoes on, found my keys and gone to the car to take a pic or scan a page of the manual to answer questions for people… hopefully it wasn’t for you Chesterfield313 lol :biglaugh:

Anyway a quick google would have brought up the perfect thread (much meta) :sad6:

People can't be bothered to look anymore, you'd think Google didn't exist, oh, and Gutenberg was apparently just wasting his time.

So, on an active car forum you would suggest that people use Google instead of using the knowledge of the members? This place is quiet enough as it is IMHO.

Yes google can be quicker than waiting for a reply on here...I always try that first.
