On order New Touran SEL

Not a lot of comments on here about the new Touran, well I ordered one at the end of September. Due to a change in circumstances I need a 7 seater so had to give up my five seater car. This is my second Touran as I used to have a '04 2.0 FSI Sport a few years ago. So far it is at "with the factory" on the tracker but a problem has arisen with the spec as I ordered leather but when I checked on the configurator it has been deleted! After calling the dealer and telling them this I was assured it it would come with it. Got a call from from them this week to say no leather! After expressing I was well T'ed off at this revelation after telling them a couple of weeks ago
they have aggreed to totaly retrim the car in leather to be carried out a a local trim specialist with my choice of colour. Now have a provisional build date of week seven.

Anyone else put in an order or got a 2016 MY Touran?

Picked up the new car last week, total night and day when compared with my old one. So much quieter and no wind noise not to mention stuffed with new tec (to go wrong!). Decided no to let them rip the car to bits to change to leather (and save a bit of cash) but still has to come apart to retrofit the heated outer rear seats that were never fitted as part of the winter pack from the factory - dealer paying. Struggling to get a service pack set up as dealer says no longer available, now in the hands of VW CS.

looks great, i've had 2 tourans now a 2004 sport and a 2011 sport but just changed to a seat alhambra yesterday. Have a look on FB for the Clubtouran group, i'm admin.
