Avant rear shade, required?

Been lurking on here for a while, a quick question for avant owners...

I've got a black edition that has rear tints but also comes with a rear (manual) shade. I took the shade out recently and noticed how heavy it is. Given I don't need it with the tints, does anyone know if it's required. It looks like it might be locking into the seats in some way and could be part of their structure.

If not, does anyone want it? Going to a good home (east London, E11).

I believe you are referring to the cargo blind. It is there to stop any goods from flying forward under heavy breaking and either knocking you out or taking your head off.
Along the lines of the cage frames in delivery vehicles, to stop the goods trying to kill the operator diver.

I have this too, but also run with this shade up.
