BiXenon stuck on High Beam

Hello,
tonight my right headlight got stuck on High Beam after using the flash to pass function.

It seems that the blinder (cut off shield) is stuck only half way between open and closed position. When I flash few more times everything is fine for few minutes and it sucks again later.

Where might be the problem - solenoid, relay, fuse...?


Please help, because the drivers in front of me will kill me.:(

If you have build codes PX5 and 8EC then they are the same as mine with dipped and main beam coming from the xenon. On mine there is an adjustment for the shield on the innermost edge of the xenon...It is likely that this has become seized and may need some lubrication.

Am unsure if a VCDS scan will show anything but that should always be your first port of call.

May be difficult to find d someone if BG is Bulgaria?

I do have a post on here showing a pic of the rear of the light cluster with the cap off showing the location of the adjustment tab.

The adjustment tab is in the upper position. The headlights are working properly since I turned on and off the high beam at least 50 times in a row.
