Hay. I would like to ask if anybody could help me. I've got a 2007 Polo Gti and I have it for about 3 months now. 3 Weeks ago it started to overboost it was easily noticeable. When i was stepping on the pedal it went crazy and was definitely overboosting. It wasnt driving evenly so I read some forums and they said to replace the N75 valve, so I did. Its boosting evenly now but still overboosting. I then replaced the MAP sensor as well, and no difference. Car is boosting like crazy. What could the problem be ? Is it possibly the wastegate getting stuck? Please help!
I dont want to take a risk of blowing the turbo or engine.
(btw had it on a OBD2 bluetooth app on the phone and it was boosting about 24 psi or round 1.7 bar. No error codes came up though)

Sounds remapped to me. What do you know about the car?

Yes, sounds like a "man in a van" remap, it needs flashing to standard first to make sure everything is OK and then a decent remap. My wife has the same car and I remapped it with the APR stage 1, it's very refined and controllable, the car that is, not the wife...:chairshot
