Hi,

Decided to try the Bluefin unit from Superchips and wanted to share results as there doesnt appear to be much posted about the actual figures involved.

Six runs total made and the average runs for hp and torque are printed below. The car made ever so slightly more but as i say these are averages.

The dip high up the rpm was not on most runs and i was advised heat and exhaust gas temps caused fuelling to adjust and cause this. Thats as much as i know.

Figures are for a 2014 245PS TDi 3.0 no other mods
Figures are at the wheels
MPG appear unchanged but still to use it enough to confirm fully

Overall very happy with performance increase. Car was good enough but now its just that much better.

198hp to 225hp
366lb/ft to 405lb/ft

29004

Thanks for sharing - I have considered remapping by 2012 A7 with the 242PS engine and procrastinated on the decision. Don't know why - I've remapped every diesel or turbo charged petrol car I've ever had, and even a couple of N/A petrols - I'm a big believer in remaps.

How does it drive now in comparison?

I tried bluefin on my old 09 2.0tdi A6 and I was very disappointed with the difference in performance. I was told I'd only really notice the difference when the car is in sport mode. So I returned it to the agent within the first week and went with a remap. The difference was night and day in the way the car drove. It's my personal experience.
I would have been a fan of superchips as I had my previous two gti's superchiped with good results.
Currently running a DTUK unit in my .3.0 tdi

The car drives as per normal but as expected, it picks up with more force and pulls harder. Really happy with how it's doing what it did before but with added performance. The performance was never needing in anyway but i can feel that it's improved overall.

I use the car for towing and that's one of the main reasons i bought it (Allroad with 2500kg capacity) as i tow a track car.
I was towing a rally Evo today and it pulled like a champ.

I managed 30mpg towing on a 120 mile round trip for the record.
