Completely unplanned - having just got married hence the absence on here, we went to get an A1 for the wife...only to get an A3 due to smallness of the A1. And as we drove out, An A6 caught my eye.
Nothing special about it - no black styling pack like the C6, smaller wheels etc.

Took it for a test drive, ended up buying it and got it yesterday.

I've gone from a V6 2.7 DOWN to a 2.0 Ultra 4 cyl but in actual fact, I can't feel the difference. Might be because I think the 2.0 has 5bhp more. Only in Auto mode is it a bit sluggish as it changes gears far too quickly.

It was more a economical factor because the 2.7 with it's upgraded 80l tank was guzzling with the type of driving I do (London!)

Also went down to 18's. I would love to get rotors on it but could justify at this point in time the harder ride and cost of tyres. This year alone I've gone through 8 tyres due to flats/use/blowouts

And finally, the blasted black styling pack. Still kicking myself I didnt hold out but I just felt the new shape doesnt look THAT bad with the chrome...due to be wrapped one day I'm sure :- )

Upsides:
Tech pack (full mmi screen and dis, sim + google maps etc)
full leather, heated, 4-zone climate
Led lights, sweeping led rear lights

Thinking about it, I don't think there are many extras over the s-line pack but it's a near like for like.

The old C6 was relatively trouble-free and any trouble was sorted under warranty
Sold @ 87800 miles

Cya on the c7 side!
