Horn Issue

Hi all,

Small issue with my cars horn that I hope someone can help me with. Essentially, often though not always, when I press the horn it sounds really weak and strange, as if one of the horns is not working properly. I press it again and it sounds fine.

Can be annoying that when I need to blast someone it sounds so weak.

Any help to point me in the right direction would be great.

Car is a dual horn 2003 A4 Cabriolet 2.4.

two horns usually means one high tone one low tone,find them,put a multimeter on the connectors press the horn and see if there's voltage getting to both,if there isn't work back to the relay.(don't know where they are someone with a cab may be able to help you).
