Hi, new owner here! Picked up my FL BE saloon on Wednesday night and I'm sure when they did the handover the DRL's came on when they unlocked it using the key fob. However today as I was walking towards the car and unlocked it I noticed the DRL's did not come on. I looked through the exterior lights setting but could not see anything relating to the DRL's. I have the light dial set on 'auto' as it was when I collected it.
can anyone confirm whether they should come on when the car is unlocked or not?

thanks!

congrats on the new car!

what toys do you have?

i have a pre FL there is a setting in the MMI to make the lights (front and rear)come on when the car is unlocked when it's Dark to aid entry into the vehicle.

Was the car unlocked in the Dark ?

I picked it up in the evening and today when I noticed they were not on it was daylight. I have the lights set to come on in the evening but that's the main lights and tail lights, there is no mention of the DRL's in the mmi settings.
Yeah, loving the new toy. Got the Black edition in Ibis White, Luna Silver interior and 20" RS alloys. Also specced the tech pack, lighting pack, heated seats and the folding mirrors.

There is certainly a setting in the car mmi section for putting the lights on when locked/unlocked... they are 2 different options (I've turned my locked to off as it blinded those across the road at night)

I don't think it's the DLR's though, it's low beam on the LEDs which looks fantastic anyway :)

Exactly same as my spec except I have black seats. Nice!

The see me home stuff only works with lights on auto. It's easy to knock the switch with yer knee as you get out. But as said, it only works when it's dark too.

Congrats on your new purchase

I'm pretty sure the lights on feature turns on the dipped beam rather than the DRLs though, hence it will only activate at night
