I have an A4 avant Quattro S line which is my second Audi and generally I have been happy with the car. However there is one exception in that the drivers seat is very uncomfortable. THe base of the seat seems to be slightly too narrow and this combined with the slight offset to the drivers pedals gives a sharp pain in my left thigh. I have tried everything from cushions to sitting at a slight angle and after 25000 miles I have had enough. I have been back to the dealership who simply say they can find nothing wrong and have never heard of this issue. Meanwhile anyone who drives this car for more than 30 minutes is in discomfort. Has anyone out there suffered this problem?

must just be you. i've had various 8K chassis cars on loan over the years and although the pedals are offset, i've driven more than 10k in various cars and not had any issues.

Been driving S Line for 6 years and not had any problem with seats. Only time I have found it uncomfortable is with the lumbar support on maximum, but other than that its been fine.

Audi seats seem fine to me - s-line and SE (and B6 Sport for that matter).
i had a 2001 mondeo once which took a long time to get used to and gave me back ache.
i guess it's individual circumstances?

I have these seats in my b8 - but they are pretty much the most comfortable seats ( bar rs turbo recaros or s6 recaros) that i have sat in, are you sure the frame isnt broken on yours?

I do a fair bit of mileage in my s line avant and agree that you do end up uncomfortable after a while of driving especially in the right thigh area, it's due to the offset pedals forcing you to press your thigh against the bolster when using the accelerator. It's not a problem on short to medium journeys but after an hour or so it does become uncomfortable.
