Hello. I have an issue that I hope some of you here will help me with. I am a car/hotrod builder, I'm working on a 1967 Dodge Coronet at the moment. Don't shoot me....please.
I am building a "one off" street car and it has the look and the style that I want. In other words it is NOT a stock '67 Coronet.
I am sourcing and using parts and systems from many cars of various years and makes.
I am, for instance, using a complete black interior/dash/console/ A/C/heat etc... from a 1998 Audi A6 Quattro Avant.
Therein lies the rub. I have no manuals/shop books for this car. I specifically need a complete car wiring schematic in detail. A shop manual to ascertain the disassembly secrets.
Any help will be great, like is there a forum with a "library"?
The two cars are the same width door to door and depth from 2879328794287952879628797windshield to front of dash. I want to install and hook up as much of the Audi dash as possible.
Any ideas?

Thanks, we car guys need to stick together, no matter if it's MOPAR or Audi!

Ghost.

Welcome to VWAF :)

Interesting project, I can imagine a few diehard MOPAR fans getting their knickers in a twist over this one!

If you search the internets for "kris hansen audi a6 c5" you'll find a fairly comprehensive PDF of wiring diagrams that should get you on your way.

28799Hello Sam! Right you are about the knickers! Or perhaps a few diehard Audi fans? Ha,ha,...but if you attend the shows here you see hundreds of correct restored MOPAR's that all look the same. Boring. I am all about creativity. Thanks for the link and I will look there for help. The dash panel and console will fit right in the car but the wiring up of everything will be the trick. I am experienced with wiring but lack the schematics. Look up on the web a car called "the Imposter Impala" it won the Ridler Award this year. Chip Foose built it. It's a 1965 Impala skin over a 2009 Corvette C6!. Modern inside with vintage outside. Cheers!

That's a pretty looking car.

My current favourite hybrid (as in an amalgamation of vehicles not as a means of power(!)) is Rutledge Wood's Kurbmaster - '49 body, '99 frame, an LS3 engine and a lot of fabrication. It's a thing of beauty!

Best of luck with the project, please keep us updated.

Thanks Sam! It will be very dark brown metallic almost black. The Audi interior is black with wood accents. I don't know this car but I will be looking it up in a few minutes! I love to fabricate, to make ideas come to life..I will keep this thread updated.
