Number two cylinder not firing, can I turn it on / off or power up or down with vag com or some other software?

Vag com did state injector on cylinder number two intermittent.
Vag com no longer states injector problem after replacing injectors, but coil pack still not pulsing on cylinder two, would the cars computer turn off the coil pulse due to a faulty injector? If so how do I fix it, can I clear all errors on vag com and start again?

It can't be a coincidence that cylinder number two has all the problems.

Where is the other end of the coil pack leads, there has to be a connector somewhere, is it the black box under the bulkhead, driver side? Is it ok to open it and clean the connections?

no, it will still fire a spark. no need to turn off the spark, injector yes to stop bore wash and cat problems, but not required to turn off spark. sme cars even run a wasted spark where both 1 and 4 will both fire at tdc, one on power and one on exhaust. same as 2 and 3.

Sme?
If this AEB engine used a spare spark then the problems would be over, a quick swap of the coil packs, then I could wash my hands of it.
