A couple of weeks ago I started to hear an odd buzzing sound from behind the fuel cap on the car when unlocking the vehicle.
Having read a couple of posts about them failing I contacted the above dealer and booked the car in for this morning and left my filler flap unlocked for the last week or so, just in case.
I arrived this morning to be told that every conceivable part had been ordered.
Annoyingly, the damned thing has been fine for the last few days.
3 hours later I arrive back to have it explained that they had diagnosed the fault and had replaced the servo, actuator, mechanism and surround, the last items(s) as a precaution. Whilst the car was in, once again it has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out.
Great service and not the "we've found the fault, the parts are on order, come back next week" service I'm used to.
I thought that we hear so many bad stories about dealers that when you receive good service it's worth mentioning to the masses!
