:zx11:Car starts ok and runs ok but there is a problem, I cant get out of park until the car has heated up to running temp. Wont come out of park and dose not show PRNDS on the display it will show that there is a fault with the auto parking break release, but that clears when you get the car up to temp and start driving. it says that there is no communication with transmission but everything is clear when it has wormed up and I can reset the fault codes and they they stay clear. so has anyone able to give me a fix for this or point me in the right direction PLEASE

If you tell us the engine we might be able to help a bit more. The Le Mans came with more than one engine.
I suggest getting the car scanned for faults but obviously you'd need someone who can come to you.

That's what it says in the title of this thread.

As Chris says a scan is in order, if your battery is the original one you could try a full trickle charge as it could be low.

Just seen your scan, can I ask if they remain when you clear them? Can you confirm how old your battery is or if you have recently changed it...if so with what, was it a like for like swap and if not was it coded?

sorry for the delay in getting back, I can clear all fault codes when the car has heated up and the fault has gone, i can drive all day stopping and starting with no problems changes gear up and down both with paddles and auto but next day when cold the fault returns and I have to wait on the car heating up again. I haven't changed the battery and I don't know how old it is but the thing is well charged and starts the car with no probs.

Can you try and connect to address "02-Auto Trans" as it not showing up on the auto-scan. Also looking at the fault codes it could be a bad connection to the gearbox ECU or the ECU on it's way out.

When scanning it is as if the transmission is disconnected from the car, when the car heats up to running temp the gearbox returns and there is no faults on 02-Auto-Trans and all the other failts can be cleared and will not come back.

I would check the harness & connectors going to the gearbox, if that all looks good then the ecu is faulty. Could be a bad joint which makes as the heat build up and things expand.
