My Audi A4 2.0L 2007 model diesel completed 160,000 kms without the slightest hitch; then the DPF gave up the ghost. Now replaced the car runs fine except the engine overheats if I drive above 2500 rpm (110C instead of the usual 90C). Any ideas if this is linked to the DPF replacement (not correctly done) or not? The coolant level is fine, stable, and no signs of leaks. The electric cooling fan is running much more frequently than before (when it was rarely noticeable). Thanks for any suggestions.
