Hi
I have a 2008 A4.
It has the concert radio, no AMI in the glove box and no aux connector in the arm rest.
I know there is a lot of threads on how to attach iPod connections (http://www.amazon.co.uk/-/dp/B00B722BHA) and different methods To do it but I can't work out which one I need.
Can someone please advise on what is best to buy. I would like connection for my iPhone (http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/field-keywords=iphone) to be operated by radio controls and hands free for calls, if possible work my phone from the radio controls. Also if possible Bluetooth my music rather than having to plug in every time.
Thanks.

First thing to check....does your cd player have a media button or cd/sd button instead? I went through the same when i bought my 2008. The cd/sd unit can't accept upgrades so i had to buy a whole new unit for 200quid. Then i had to get the ami fitted for 350. This was for my ipod classic though so i don't know how it would work with the phone for Bluetooth. I believe once you plug in you lose all phone functionality.
It's also not possible to Bluetooth stream music, even if you have the built in Bluetooth. It's strictly for calls only, apart from the very latest 2014 on sat nav mmi i think

One option - not cheap is to add AMI and ViseeO Tune2Air and you should have everything including stream, somewhere ive have seen setup connected behind cd-box but you have concert, there is other choises as well but nothing like cheap and quick.

I dont belive belive concert has cd-box connection.
One more solution, not sure its for concert or not:
"Xcarlink was my sollution to the same problem. Splashed out on the Bluetooth version with iPod connection. Now I just use iTunes Match on my phone"

Going through this whole issue myself at the moment, did you ever find a way?
I've read so many conflicting things I don't even know where to start. I've just emailed my local Audi specialist who said they can fit an AUX cable to my Stereo (It has the SD/CD option) for 114.00; so i'm swinging more towards that rather than wasting anymore time searching for a solution to this!

I had this problem and went for the Fiscon Pro unit. It will do everything you need, works fantastically and in my opinion is as good as Audi original gear (+ allows A2DP music streaming)
I have read some forum members saying that the hands-free phone was not great but I have found it to be crystal clear and the person on the other end of the line has never complained or said they can't hear me.
Mine was fitted for £400 all in.
Expensive, but worth it.
I'm in west London and the guy who fitted is based in Swansea. He does regular Reading/London runs. PM if you need his details.

Fiscon music stream - audio from all speakers or just front?

The Fiscon Pro for MMI 2 High, which I have fitted provides music to all speakers.
