What is the best engine for Audi A4 B7

Hi. To be honest I consider 1.9 tdi or 2.0 tfsi. I heard the best engine is 1.9 but I cant find good offers with it. On autotrader I can find plenty offers of 2.0 tfsi but someone help me to choose the best offer and engine?

Neither is good enough ! The 1.9Tdi in the b7 is much weaker than the 1.9Tdi fitted in the b6. I suggest you look for a tidy 1.9Tdi sport b6 model and be done with it: stronger engine, stronger clutch, stronger turbo, etc. The 1.9 Tdi maps well to 165-170 Bhp without much bother so will feel pokey than the 2.0Tfsi but without the top end of the petrol engine. For day to day driving the 1.9Tdi is hard to beat !

Its a huge difference between 1.9 tdi and 2.0 b7? To be honest im thinking only about b7 but i dont really know which engine is better 1.9 or 2.0. I have better offers with 2.0 engine but i heard its a weaker than 1.9.

If the 2.0tdi has the BRE engine code, search for "oil pump" and "hex shaft" and "DMF" on the forum.

Good deals on 3.0 tdi at the moment...! Bomb proof esp if the swirl flaps are good
