Hello, does anyone know what mileage the diesel pump belt should be replaced at, I know the engine is run on chains, is this an easy job to do?

No spec for this. The belt is cheap £17 ish but about £160 to fit at dealer. I just had mine done when crank pulley failed for piece of mind

Just spoke to Hitchin audi and they have told me there's no recommendation, how does that work? I checked it on Sunday and it looks ok, but I left the motor trade 15 years ago things change!

It's just a belt, and if it breaks the engine stops. Best just to inspect the condition of the belts every service for signs of contamination, cracking or threads.
The Previous V6TDI had toothed belts driving a distributor pump and needed timing correctly so it was easier to mark it up and align before replacing rather than wait until it failed, but the modern common rail V6TDI it is just a plain HP pump and you just pop a new belt on and go.

Ok thanks for that, spoke to the parts girl at Hitchin audi who you get more sense out of, and she said in her time working there she's never seen one replaced! So as you say best to just check and inspect.
