Hi all, I am new on this nice forum.

Could you please give me some help in reading the VCDS output? I guess there is something odd in some fields.
It is a golf Plus TDI 2.0 year 2005, used car, now the car has a failure due to pressure oil but I want to be sure that miles are real.

1. Revision 12345678... Is it good? It seems so strange value.
2. Flash attempt 0: this could be safe for the health of the ECU but flash date does not refer to the date of manufacturing of the ECU itself?
3. Is there a way to determine where is the workshop starting from the workshop code?
4. The date is one year younger than the date written on the car circulation book.

Re No 2 Flash attempt 0 means ECU has not been reflashed or mapped.

Thanks for your answer Lukencarl.

What about revision 12345678? It is like putting password '1234' on your email account... Sounds really strange, someone knows why?

At the end the problem was due to bad quality gasoline, changed the fuel filter and now the car is OK!

thanks for your help
