I've now changed top front and rear arms, bottom front and rear arms, c links and anti roll bar bushs, tie rod ends and i'm still getting a rattle from the front drivers side upto 35-40 mph, its better now i've done the arms it's better but still there.
I have changed the pads on the front but that was a long time before the rattle started and it doesnt go if i'm braking.
Anyone any ideas on anything else?

Perhaps the rattle is not from the suspension. What type of rattle is it, light or deeper? When does the rattle happen?

I think it's deeper as though something is loose in front, only happens at speeds Upto 40 mph over rough Tarmac uneven roads, no noise over speed bumps etc

Am assuming you had a full alignment done after the arms were changed.
Based on what you've already changed can you record it, or give an appreciation if it's a metallic or plastic rattle?
So could be anything from shock mount/undertray loose right through to steering rack, I think that wheel hub wouldn't rattle if worn but will chirp/growl.

Under tray is off, c link bolt was 1/2 turn loose which has stopped 80% of what was left, I've noticed there is a small brick in the front chassis rail. I have a 500 mile trip tomorrow/Friday and will see how it goes. Not had it re aligned as place told me to get all the work done 1st.

1. So are you going to shoot the person that did the links?
2. Erm how did you miss a half brick?
3. A 500 mile trip if badly misaligned will show on tyre wear.
4. Better attention to detail would have saved posters their time :(

The links may be worn, and that's why it was loose ......................... maybe not
has the noise gone since tightening it up ?

Niall, in the first post Jubbly said they'd been replaced, clearly not properly, hence my 'shoot' comment :biglaugh:

It's better but still a slight rattle, if you go over a drain or a pothole nothing, but if your driving over rough Tarmac like your coming to traffic lights or a junction then a light rattle that seams to be coming from the drivers side front.
Also only at lower speeds on motorway etc nothing, round town 30-40mph then rattle.
