Hi,

I have an A6 and recently it has come up with the following. What does this actually mean and does it mean I have to get an expensive oil change before a service ?

28525

Cheers.

I think it means you are on fixed service intervals rather than long life. If you are going to keep the car then it is the best option. What car, engine, mileage etc do you have and what is your annual mileage?

Audi A6 2.0 tdi from 2011 that's done about 34000. Do less than 7000 a year.

Use the better LongLife oil and change annualy .

Stck to fixed servicing for that mileage. That will be an annual oil service and a major every 2 years. You can get the service plan for £299 which covers you for an oil service and an annual service. Good value.

I was offered a service for £159 which is the cheaper option and included oil change. The only thing was that I would need another service in a year. Was not told about the service plan ?? Is there a link for that ?

Here you go. It is only for cars which are 3-5 years old so would work out well for you if you keep the car.
